Our programs
A practice for the moments that shape learning.
KYEL is an early-learning movement and breathing program designed around the real rhythm of childhood. Young children move quickly from one experience to the next — from play to learning, excitement to focus, frustration to calm. KYEL gives educators simple, age-appropriate practices that help children pause, breathe, move, recognize what they are feeling, and reset for what comes next.
The KYEL practice
Learning how to regulate yourself is part of learning, too.
At the heart of KYEL is a simple belief: learning how to regulate yourself is part of learning, too.
Our practices bring together breathing techniques, purposeful movement, mindfulness, and emotional awareness in ways young children can understand and enjoy. These aren’t meant to replace emotions or ask children to simply “calm down.” They give children language, movement, and breathing tools to help them experience their emotions, create space, and begin learning how to respond.

Inside a KYEL experience
A world of little discoveries.
Imaginative movement
Stretch like a star, hop like a frog, and explore child-friendly yoga poses.
Breathing breaks
Gentle exercises give children a simple way to pause and settle.
Feeling friends
Social-emotional play creates space for children to notice and express how they feel.
KYEL for schools
The goal isn’t to take time away from learning. It’s to make the moments between learning work better.
KYEL gives early learning environments a consistent practice that can become part of the school day. Through annual access to the KYEL program, schools can bring age-appropriate practices into transitions, classroom routines, learning periods, and those moments when children simply need to pause and reset.

KYEL at home
The practice doesn’t end when the school day does.
KYEL is developing a family experience that will allow parents and children to continue these foundational practices at home through simple, engaging activities designed for everyday moments.
Our vision
Tools children can grow with, carry forward, and return to throughout life.
KYEL began with what worked in real classrooms with real children. Our vision is to make these practices accessible to children and educators everywhere — giving young people tools they can grow with, carry forward, and return to throughout life.
Pause. Breathe. Move. Feel. Reset.
That’s the KYEL practice.
Give children a moment to move, breathe, and reset.
Bring simple, meaningful mindfulness and movement into the everyday learning experience.
